The game ended scoreless as Iowa goalie Monique William had six saves in the night, including five in the first half. That total marks a new single-game high for Iowa this season.
The Bears pressed the Hawkeyes with an 11-4 shooting advantage, but the Iowa defense held on to secure their third clean sheet of the season.
First-year student Morgan Lietz and graduate student Caroline Halonen combined for both Iowa shots on goal for the contest.
