TYLER, Texas (KETK) – CHRISTUS Health has launched a competition to offer scholarships to high school students during Heart Health Awareness Month.
Students have the chance to receive a $ 5,000 scholarship from Tyler’s CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Hospital. To participate in the initiative, people must submit a video on women’s heart health. It can last a maximum of two minutes.
The finalists will move on to a social media judging competition, which will choose the top three videos. All high school students can participate in the competition, and there are no GPA requirements. The scholarships will be awarded in cash and may be used for college or other tuition fees.
People can submit videos on smartphones.
The file size should not exceed 100MB.
The video can include family, friends and classmates, but there can only be one candidate per video.
Videos must be in MPEG2 or MPEG4 format.
The deadline for submitting the final video is February 1, 2022. Please complete the media consent form with the video submission. If they are under 18, parents must sign the consent form.

The grand prize winner will receive $ 5,000, second place will receive $ 2,500 and third place will receive $ 1,500.
