The team will see four opponents in the home and away playoffs this season starting with Hampden-Sydney in the ODAC opener Nov. 27 on the road and host the Tigers on Saturday, Feb. 18. The H-SC game at Lexington will wrap up the ODAC regular season schedule.
Virginia Wesleyan, Bridgewater and Randolph join the H-SC twice on the ’22-23 roster. The Blue and Whites will hit the beach on Saturday, January 14 and host the Marlins on Saturday, February 4 at 2 p.m. The H-SC and VWU series will be “must see” competitions in the ODAC race as the three teams are separated by just five points in pre-season voting.
The Bridgewater Eagles travel to Lexington on January 25 and host the Blue and Whites on February 8, just two Wednesdays after the initial meeting. Similar to the Eagles-Generals game, W&L will see the Randolph Wildcats twice in 14 days, on the road on Feb. 1 and at home on Feb. 15.
Rounding out the ODAC schedule, the Generals will host Eastern Mennonite (November 30), Roanoke (December 7), Shenandoah (January 11) and Lynchburg (January 21) at the Richard L. Duchossois Athletics and Recreation Center. Randolph-Macon (December 3), Guilford (January 4), Averett (January 7) and Ferrum (January 18) are this year’s slate road destinations.
The Old Dominion Athletic Conference’s postseason tournament will be held in Salem, Virginia. The quarter-finals of the men’s tournament will take place on Friday, February 24. The Blues and Whites are looking to qualify for Saturday’s semi-final at the Salem Civic Center for the first time since 2019. Championship competition for the men’s and women’s tournaments will take place on Sunday.
